    window issue / euro clears

two things... my passenger side is goig wierd. it is dropping 1/2" every time I shut the door (like it is falling). I can roll it back up using the switch, but why is it doing this?

also, some time ago someone found some depo euro tail lights for ~$70, where were they? I can't find the site.

If you have a coupe, there's a switch in the door catch that is supposed to toggle the window drop when you open the door. As the switch get's older and used, it wears out. This switch may be failing, which is causing the window to drop.

As for the lights, not sure.

I don't believe it is this... though it could be... it still drops and goes up (after it has fallen an inch or so...) it is like it doesn't know it is part way down, acts normal other than being partially open. you are talking about the striker bolt correct? I push the button and it pops up/down... but when I shut the door, the impact causes the window to drop down 1/2-3/4".... but it can be rolled up using the switch. It should be noted that when it gets to the top, it makes a "clunk" noise.

Failing window regulators making all sorts of weird noises. It's hard for me to figure out what's wrong with out seeing what it's doing and being able to play with it.

How many miles are on your car, and how often do you use that window?

The window regulators on our cars straight up $uck, poor design imo.

56,000mi on a 95. Regular use. I live in AZ, so in the summer they never get used... winter sometimes, but windows are up most of the time.

alright... new sound (and it isn't good). it slides down a bit just with driving (just enough to whistle)...

when I roll it up it repeats ta-tunk ta-tunk ta-tunk...

any better idea? If it is a regulator, where should I get it? Any dealer better than the other?
