My 95 M needs a catalytic converter. The local BMW dealer has quoted a price of $1650.00 :banghead: How does everyone feel about less expensive alternatives. My local "muffler shop" said they can do it for around $500.00 and I've seen prices online from $375.00 to $1250.00 Why the big price fluctuation? :nixweiss: I'm new to the BMW family, so sorry for the ignorance.

I'm in North Carolina. A local tire/muffler shop told me $400-$500 over the phone. They did say to bring it by today so they can give me a more accurate estimate.Comment
