    hi flow cat...

Does anyone know who makes a good hi flow cat? I just installed a B&B exhaust...sounds awesome, but my cat is toast. Considering hi-flow cat or track pipe from Turner Motorsports or AA.....What would you guys recommend?

AA track pipe, as long as your car is a 95 ONLY, 96+ track pipe wont give you any additional gains, you may actually loose some, but it will make it louder and your exhaust system lighter by about 5-6 lbs

If you have emissions in your area, get a high-flow cat. Otherwise go with the cheapest option. Track pipe will add noise and reduce torque slightly, but will also reduce a couple of pounds of weight and free-up (very minimal) hp. Kind of doesn't make much difference unless your car is heavily modded or FI, so cheaper is better (so long as you don't have to worry about smog limits).

track pipe doesnt necessarily lose torque, it loses torque on stock headers, if you get the appropriate full AA system the whole system will work properly togther and you will get great HP/TQ gains. the reason AA track pipe seems to lose torque is b/c then the headers become the bottle neck, not the cats.

If they don't already have one, they will make you one for VERY reasonable. I had them make me a hi-flow stainless cat for a previous car and it was the balls!
