I have them on my 325is and if I had a choice I would not do it again. They ride great but getting them to fit right is a huge ordeal. First off you need spacers in the front. If your front end isn't absolutely perfect you will get a shimmy in the steering wheel. After 6 trips to the installer and many many hours we finally found a way to make them fit without spacers but only at a very specific ride height.
I love the ride now but I wouldn't go through it again.
no, thats still not the correct way. That is mounting the swaybar to the control arm which decreases its effectiveness. To counter act this you would need to get a larger front sway from a 325.

Sounds like your car has issues... There shouldn't be any problem with using them in a 325. I have them in mine and LOVE them! While now that I am hitting the track a lot more I am looking at upgrading in the next year they are a GREAT street setup IMO.
