    new to the BMW world...

Hey all might be getting an M3...

Just a few quistions that i have ( i am a Suby guys, don't know jack about BMW :nixweiss:

    here we go

first off, i am looking to do an exhaust

I have no idea what to get, but i am looking to get an exhuast that is not quite, but not loud, more so leaning to the loud side. And when i do get an exhaust should i do headers and catback and keep the cat, or should i get a track pipe and go catless, (BTW i live in california so cats and cops are an issue)

    next ? what is the best chip,tuning etc for a 1998 E36 M3 (3.2L)

I have heard that the shark injector is pretty good, but not sure what else is out there

and last but not least, i need an adjustable coilover kit, something trackable, but has a good street ride, don't want it too soft tho, roads where i live are in decent shape. BTW, looking to lower anout 1.5 in the front 1 in the back, also will i need a camber kit?

    Thanks in advance

all your questions can be answered with a search.

    1) check out exhaust from Rogue Engineering, UUC, Stromung, or AA. Loud to quiet, kind of middle section of bmw exhaust sound range.

    2) OBDII software is really not going to net you any power, nor is it required until you get cams, hfm, or different injectors. But the shark injector is nice, Dinan, and AA make software for OBDII cars.

    3) How often are you tracking? If you are serous about tracking i'd go with nothing but Ground Control. You will actual end up with the rear lower, numbers wise, to correct set the car up. You won't need camber plates, unless you are really serious about tracking.

lol...sorry i knew i was gonna get flamed on the non search, i did a few but none of them came up with the answer i was looking for. i did alot of nasa events in my WRX, and i was running a full coilover set up, but i only plan to track it once in a while, but looking for adjustability, so if i do decide to do some auto x here and there and maybe an scca or nasa event down the line. so ground control you say? heard of them but never used thier products...any suggestions on websites that i could use to purchase any of these products?

      thanks once more
