Keyless entry

When i use my keyless entry, my lights dont flash...i find this kind of odd. Are they not suppose to, is there any way i can get them to?

what kind of keyless entry do you have? Are your bulbs burnt out?

I have the factory keyless entry (with Alarm system)...No lights flash just interior lights go on.

Whether or not the lights flash is an option that can be coded into the key. I think the default selection is to not have them flash. Your dealer should have had you fill out a form for all the key coding options. I know it was there on my M3 key form since I just filled it out a few weeks ago.

Shes a 98, I got her used from a private party...Can i still get the dealer to do this? The buttons are seperate from my key...

Not on the E36. The only option available with the factory alarm is a 'chirp'. This can be toggled on/off via the key fob.

I've never heard of this, and I have factory keyless. Pretty sure you're wrong. Maybe you're talking about another model, do you have a E36 M3? (Asking b/c your sig doesn't include)
