    Tire size?

Ok Long story short. Blew out a rear tire, went to the tire store to get a new tire and they told me i had 235-40-17's all the way around keep in mind my wheels ar 17-7.5 all the way around. The guy said my tires should be 225-45-17's in the front and 245-40's in the back.. Is there any problems having my set-up?

    no.

the stock staggered set up with 8.5"s in the back is a 225/45 and 245/40, however, if you switch to non staggered you get 235/40 all the way around.

either setup is fine, but i like non staggered.... plus the tires will be a bit cheaper going non-staggered

Very interesting Silver. Remember in some earlier posts I had noted the lettering on your rims? They definitely were a purchase by former owner, they didn't come with the car, since 97's came with the staggered setup.

Stay the way you are. Tell the guy if he'd like to buy you two brand new back rims, you'll consider going staggered.

You have what you are supposed to have for the wheels on your car in the picture. the sizes he quoted you are OEM for staggered wheels, but the 235 40s will still be fine up front, a bit pulled in back on the 8.5s
