    How much for an LTW?

Hi guys, my search for a great e36 might end somtime soon! I might have a chance coming soon to buy a 95 M3 Lightweight with only 54K. I haven't seen it in the flesh yet, only heard about it.

What price should one of these fetch if all is working properly?

Oops I should have mentioned that it is NOT at all stock, there are loads of mods. I am told there is Dinan everything and supercharger, plus a big brake kit, eibachs (or to that effect), sparco seats, and probably more...I won't have details until mid next week.

      mid 30k's.

If you are really interested in buying one, buy my friends. Much lower mileage.

Most lightweights were used mainly for track cars. Since this one is highly moded it is likely that it was used as one too. Make sure to make sure the engine isnt shot.

While I like the exclusivity and aluminum door panels of the lightweight, I think a better car to buy would be one of the 45 Euro spec M3's that were imported to Canada. A few of them trade hands every year, and they seem to ask for less dough than a lightweight.
