Because of that little 25 cent plastic gear in the gearbox of the driver's seat recliner motor I've now spent countless hours, heaps o' cash and I still don't have it fixed.
I just bought a used seat on eBay and now I want to swap gearboxes with the one in my car, a '98 M3 convertible. But how do you remove the gearbox? There's a spring connected to the box and I can't figure out if or how to remove it to get the gearbox out.
Any ideas?
