Warranty advice please

Im taking the car in today because the cats have been rattling lately. They said it was covered under warranty but it must be inspected first and i will only be charged if no problem is found. If the problem is with the cats, they said i wont be charged for the inspection or replacement. Sound a little sketchy?

That sounds pretty normal to me, they will charge you to diagnose a problem not covered by the waranty. so they inspect to make sure a covered component failed.
