    h&r race springs?

i am trying to decide on a coil spring to run on my car. the race spring seems like the one that will give me the most drop. thats what i want, but my question is wil will it be too low? like will the tires rub the fenders with two people in hte car...

does anyone have a picture of an e36 with these springs?? i would like to see what the stance looks like.

    thanks -jeff

    jeff,

I have the HR race with knoi - and on toronto roads in the spring it means a lot of pot holes. Personally I find them okay. They can be a little rigid at times but nothing that i'm concerned about. They are after all progressive so it is not like i'm going to chip my teeth. As for rubbing yes it is very possible. But just to let you know i have 235/40/18s in the front (no rubbing) and 245/40/18s with the fenders rolled. There is minor rubbing in the back but will be elminated the next time i change my tires to 235/40/18s in the back. oh yes my rim size is 18x8.5

I don't have a picture handy but suffice to say it looks great ... much better than the sport!

i'm not sure what shocks... i guess konis are what everyone seems to like?

how do you "roll" the fenders? i know what the term means, but how do you do the job?

          thanks for the input -jeff

i have h&r springs, car does sit really low in back. but looks great i have stock rims 10 spokes, and no rub at all.but you can barly put your finger in between the rear wheel and the finder so if you have large tires you might rub.

              i have 235\17

              hope this helps

btw bilstins are the way to go.

i've been running H&R race springs w/ Koni adjustable sport shocks for the past 8 years w/ no problems...i'm running 255/35-18s on 9.5 wheels out back w/ no rubbing, and no, i didn't roll any fenders, i would never do that to my car/paint :eek2: ...it's all about having the right off-set and tires
