Hi everyone. I am just curious to know what years they made the automatic transmission M3's. My father saw a 97 sedan with an automatic as well as a convert. with the same tranny. Any referrals to other website or links would be greatly appreciated. (BTW...i am all for the standard tranny..not suto for me) Thanks.

depending on the body style, this is technically correct.Comment

slushbox=removing half the driving fun of m3's.
unless you have bumper to bumper commutes every day, no reason for an auto.
really, if you want an auto, there are plenty of Camry's available :-)Comment

don't knock the auto till you drive it, its honestly one of the best auto's every made. With dinan tranny chip and a dinan 3.91 , it will hang with or beat any stick with comparable mods. 3.91 dinan chipped auto is no slouch, off the line it pulls awesome.Comment
