I think Im getting my M3

Hello Everyone I think through tons of ad searching I have found my m3. Its a really good price and I think I might go for it if all goes well. Here are a few questions it is a 1998 M3 Sedan 4 Dr. The Mileage isnt too high for a 98 car with automatic. Is there anything I should be looking out for when I check this car out on monday? Any advice would help and hopefully I can join this forum with my 98 M3 = )

no but ive driven one, its a gm trany, crappy throttle response, and a lot more sluggish. If you want get the auto and then later on swap a manual into it theres been plenty of people who have done it.

Well now you are talking! If it runs, and checks out OK by Goober Pyle, buy it. That would be the cheapest E36 M3 purchase price I have seen from anyone on the forum.

i gotta agree.. if it checks out jump on it.. 6k either way u look at it is amazing.. u could spend the money on the tranny swap and still come at a big winner in my opinion

Well I'm going thru all the precautions like carfax with the vin number. Also going myself with my friends to check it out personally. Going to test drive it inspect it and decide from there. Thats why in my original post what I should be watching out for.
