Need help! How do you install gauge cluster rings?

So I purchased these rings off of ebay but there is no instructions...anyone have a link on how to remove the instrument console safely and install these rings? (Just the rings) Pictures would be great as well! (by the way I did a search but nothing was that helpful) I heard it has to be installed from the back?? I wish there were instructions with pictures somewhere? help please! Thanks in advance!!

I am p!ssed about mine...they will not stay in place...I am thinking about pulling them. I love the look when they are in the right place but...
