Is there any specific reason this doesn't work with superchargers? :nixweiss:

No. It adds even more RWHP when coupled with FI of any type. I don't know why someone would say that they would have to take it off when they installed FI. Maybe I'll learn something.

it works fine with superchargers!! In fact it will be a HUGE increase in power with forced induction! You would have to be fu**ing crazy to go FI w/out an m50 manifold.

phil97m3Blue posted a picture of a twin screw. That's only one of the few types of forced induction setups for the E36 m3. It's also the most expensive. For a centrifugal type supercharger, and a turbo setup, the m50 manifold is a great swap.

Ok, that's why I was confused, I didn't see any reason it wouldn't work until Phil posted the pic of the twin screw. That I understand. I was thinking centrifugal and I wasn't seeing any reason they wouldnt work together.

          Thanks for the pic, Phil!!

You get a roman numeral for every sticker.

            Go Derek!

Hey - I have seen and run alongside Derek's car, and it looks every bit as good in person as his sig looks on his posts! :rofl2: Even better in the right light sometimes!

Oh, yeah - the M50 manifold rocks too! M50_Manifold_complete.jpg (http://home.comcast.net/~palermos1/M50_Manifold_complete.jpg)

it only doesn't work with the twin screw s/c, any other CF s/c kit the m50 manifold will work with.

what about a turbo? Wouldnt the M50 being a nice step in the on the road to obd-1 conversion? Why are gains more apparent with the obd-1 FI?

Works great with a turbo setup. No reason to go OBDI, there are many great OBDII turbo kits.
