E36 m3 Production numbers by color

Does anybody have anything with the production numbers for e36 m3 by color?

Example: How many Estoril coupes were made with black interior in '96.

I've spent nearly an hour searching both this forum and bf and this is the closest I could come up with:

Unless a repost, this would be great to know. I've wondered about the production numbers of Avus Blue many times before

At the end of this document, you can find the production years of exterior and interior colors along with the exterior paint code.

Here's something else regarding many, if not all, BMW production cars.

Though all North American E36 M3 3.2 coupes were fitted with a manual gearbox, both the sedan and convertible could be ordered with a ZF five-speed automatic transmission.

Is there anyone else that didn't know this?? I thought there were automatic coupes too...

Only the '95 coupes could be ordered with an automatic. :shifty:

You'd be surprised how much solid information can be found on www.bmwmregistry.com. Read their FAQs on the E36 M3 3.0 and 3.2, and you'll have more random knowledge than you'll ever need. After that you can peruse random old threads here and on bf.c and you'll find even more random and useless stuff.

There should be a club for random E36 knowledge. Jon Vitolo can be our leader. :shifty:

I've read through it before, I guess I just never picked up on it. Now that I think back, I've never seen a post-95 coupe with an auto, but i just never really thought about it I suppose. Good info though.

I don't think it does. That's just the paint codes, not number of cars produced in each color... :clueless:
