just did it this weekend...don't have any pics yet tho.
pull off your outer lenses and you will be able to seperate the inner lenses from there...just pull out the lens covering the high beam, clean it very well, buy a can of Krylon Stained Glass spraypaint in yellow, spray the lenses as many coats as you want (i did 2) and then put everything back together.
should go without saying that you need euro-style glass headlights (depo/zkw/bosch, etc), I don't think you can do it with the stock US plastic ones...plus that would look like junk anyway
Well i have depos, and they have angel eyes at the moment. I wanna take them out for the yellow highs. But post a pic, is it too much yellow with french fogs as well?

I love the look of the yellow high's (I also wired up my city lights as well)...kinda mimics the Alpina Bosch headlights but without the yellow low-beams.
I de-frenched my fogs at the same time, too much yellow...eventually I'll remove them all together, but IMO if you used lamin-x to french your fogs just pull it off

Post a pic post a pic! lol and yeah i did use laminx so its a easy removal.
Why on earth would you want yellow lights? Even the French gave up on that...
b/c it looks cool. :thumbsup2:
the theory is that yellow light has a longer wavelength so it scatters/disperses less or 'penetrates' better. humans eyes are also most sensitive to yellow (and green) light. this theory can't be applied to foglights since fog droplets are not the appropriate size to scatter light and therefore yellow light, which is less bright than white light since it is 'filtered' light, is not necessary.
