Quiet exhaust options?

...is in no way quiet. Idling in an underground garage it sounds like there's gonna be a fight. Blipping the throttle used to set off my neighbour's Cayman's alarm.

I like my Dinan, and by aftermarket standards its on the quiet side. Best part is, first owner bought it.

I am not a fan of an overly loud exhaust for a DD, I have a Borla and I don't think it is obnoxious at all. That being said if I was going to do it again I would go with either Stromung or AA gen III. I think I would prefer the AA but the Stromung has staggered tips like a stock muffler. Dinan is nice but at $1100............. pass.

Nothing wrong with stock, but for quiet I'd go AA III in a heartbeat

The consensus seems to be AA III but after listening to the video it sounds similar to what i have. I'm still undecided. Thanks for the opinions.

My Borla is loud in my garage but when getting on the gas and under normal driving conditions it doesn't seem to loud. I am maybe just used to it. In the state i live in everyone drives huge diesel trucks with 4 inch pips. That is loud!

I dont have a video unfortunately, but I have the SuperSprint exhaust - it's tame to the point of being quiet at idle and low revs (i.e. driving around town) but screams at high RPMs and sounds amazing :drool:

Keep in mind AA Gen III is 34lbs. Not exactly the lightest aftermarket exhaust and while many of the lighter exhausts are quite loud others aren't too bad, aka stromung. Not sure how much weight plays a role in your decision but you mentioned it in the OP so I thought I'd mention that.
