    Supercharger Pull (pics)

So I finally pulled my leaky supercharger today and am sending it out to vortech tomorrow to have it rebuilt. Pulling it wasn't hard but getting the caked oil lines off in tight spaces wasn't fun.

2 weeks w/o the car tho since I don't have the stock piping to put back in :-)

What were u making on the supercharger? Brand type? Cost? How many miles since you have to rebuild it?

Less than 300 to the wheels when I had it in because I've been having issues with vacuum leaks and MAF contamination with oil. Once I get it back though I expect to get about 300. It's a vortech V1 and you can probably find a used kit for 3k (don't quote me on that through). These kits new go for around 5k for the stage one and go uphill from there.

S/c has 45k on it but it's 10 years old now.

I went to Pitt but don't live there anymore. Lived in Oakland...such a nice neighborhood :-)
