    Intermittent Starting issues '95 E36 M3

Hello guys, this is the first time i'm posting.

I'm having intermittent starting issues on my 1995 e36 M3.

One scenario is: i would park the car, a few mins after the car would not start, No Crank. If the AC was left on, i would then turn it off wait a few mins then the car would start.

Second Scenario: i would need to get a Jump Start if the above fails.

Third Scenario: Hold the key to the starting position and have someone tap on the starter.

Fourth Scenario: The car would start without no issues for a period of time.

So far i have had the battery checked, the alternator check, charging rate checked.. all is good. My Mechanic also checked the Starter and says its good, but a little sluggish. The Body Ground cable was also changed since it was pretty bad.

I must also mention that this seems to be happening when the Temperature is above 90 degrees.

The Battery is a Die Hard with 700CC amps.

I did check the battery and cable connections, also the B+ terminal under hood (i took this apart and cleaned it thoroughly).

Sometimes the Starter clicks, at other times i do not hear a click.

I do have an aftermarket alarm with a remote start, however, the remote start does not start the car anymore..the ignition comes on, you hear the click but there is no crank.

I would appreciate any input from anyone who knows about this or have experienced this. Please Help!!!! Thanks
Working...
