    Oxygen Sensor help needed

I am new to M3's (just recently bought my car), and the Check Engine Light came on a few days ago and according to Autozone, I need a new O2 sensor in Bank 2 Sensor 1, which they tell me is one of the pre-cat sensors.

I called BMW of Nashville and an O2 sensor there is $267.07, but after searching these forums, it seems that I can use the NTK sensor # 25013 for my car.

Before ordering this (I do plan on doing both pre-cat sensors at the same time), I just want to make sure that this is what I need to get for my car.

    My car is a '99 M3 Convertible.

I appreciate any help regarding this, and also would like to know where is a good place to order them.

    Thanks!

That part # is different than what I've read is correct for the car.

Isn't the correct part # for an M3 for the NTK part # 25013?

Sorry to sound so stupid, but what is a rev level?

                  "rev." stands for "Revision".

When paperwork, or parts, or whatever else get modified for what ever reason from their original, companies give the newer parts new part numbers or a new Rev. level to keep them identified from the previous, unmodified parts.

When I called these guys with the same question, I was told it is the same part. The only difference between them is one has a NTK logo stamped on it, the other does not.

                    +1

cheapest place to get an OE NTK sensor without the Bosch and BMW markup

(NTK sells to bosch who sells to BMW who sells to their dealers)
