Are you sure that car wasn't in an accident? i broke my old factory strut bar on my old car, but the car was in a huge front end impact that totaled it... if that's just some picture from the internet then who knows what the story was.

This is from the track section on bfc, maybe also posted in e46 but as the story goes he was just flogging it about, no accident.

There's a reason manufacturers use these. My celica had a factory brace that attached to the firewall for example. Every performance oriented vehicle has got them. From bentley to integra R and fast editions of our e36 Ms and other M cars all came from factory with them. So coupled with personal impressions I see how they help.

Ps. did your civic come with one? Ever tried to run without it? Maybe it's more pronounced on older vehicles that have had a lot of miles like my old acura.

yes the Si came with one...i ran with and without. zero difference.

im not saying its a completely useless mod...just something you more than likely (in most cases) wont feel or notice a thing.

Yeah, couldn't really tell a difference with the stock strut bar on the Si. I will say however that I think it helped out (somewhat) in the accident... It absorbed a good amount of the force.
