    What colour???

TODAY I HAVE TAKEN ON A NEW PROJECT.

IM GONNA BUILD A E36 M3 COUPE FROM A SHELL.

    ITS CURRENTLY ESTORIL BLUE.

DO I CHANGE THE COLOUR TO ATLANTIS BLUE?

THE SHELL IS A 1998 3.2 EVO, HPI CLEAR AND CAME WITH A MINT VADER LIGHT GREY LEATHER TRIM AT A BARGAIN PRICE.

I HAVE A 1997 M3 EVO INDIVIDUAL CONVERTIBLE IN BOSTON GREEN TO BUILD INTO IT.

I HATE THE CONVERTIBLE FROM THE FIRST DAY I BOUGHT IT BUT I LOVE THE WAY IT DRIVES.

95% OF THE PARTS ARE A DIRECT SWAP SO WHY NOT.

I WILL NEED TO PAINT THE SHELL AS HALF THE CAR WILL BE BOSTON GREEN AND HALF ESTORIL BLUE

I NEED A PROJECT THAT I CAN USE ON TRACK DAYS AS WELL AS SHOW AND DRIVE.:shiftdriv

I CAN SELL THE CONVERTIBLE BITS I WONT NEED IE THE HARDTOP, SOFTOP AND CREAM WITH GREEN PIPING INDIVIDUAL INTERIOR AS WELL AS OTHER BITS TO FUND THE BITS I WILL NEED FOR THE SWAP.

I LIKE ESTORIL BLUE BUT ARE 2 POPULAR IN THE UK BUT ATLANTIS BLUE IS RARE AS ROCKING HORSE SH17E AND IMO LOOKS BETTER.

OR WRAP THE LOT IN MATTE SILVER WITH CARBON BONNET.

    HMMMMMMMM DECISIONS DECISIONS!

THE NEXT DILEMMA WILL BE THE RIMS BUT THAT WILL BE A SHORT WHILE OFF. ORIGINALS, LATER STYLE OR BBS.

    ALL COMMENTS APPRECIATED!

I love the idea of Atlantis blue. It's an amazing color and I like the idea of keeping it a BMW color.

Can you post some pictures of the shell and mint seats? It's a goal of mine to get a shell too and also do a ground up build... starting with an acid dip.

Why? Who in the world would flame a shell build in Atlantis Blue?

Sounds like a serious project! Where on earth do you find a random E36 M3 shell? I would think that in most cases the shell gets damaged and people keep the innards, rather than the other way around. Did someone misshift or something?

there is an atlantis blue coupe that has been for sale here in Australia for ages

                  here is the link (http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/private/details.aspx?R=10224994&__Qpb=true&Cr=10&__Ns=pCar _RankSort_Int32|1||pCar_PriceSort_Decimal |1||pCar_Make_String|0||pCar_Model_String|0&keywor ds=&__N=1216%201246%201247%201252%201282%204294967 079% 204294729565%204294966879%204294967072&SearchActio n=N&silo=1011&seot=1&tsrc=allcarhome&__Nne=15&trec s=30&__sid=127F3E0A7925)

i guess no one wants it because it is SMG. there wouldn't be many this colour over here thats for sure. i really dig this colour - id buy this and convert it to manual in a heartbeat if i had the cash and such. ive already had one converted, its no big deal really. its got a cool rare looking interior as well

Me? Frozen Gray... I mean, if you have the bare shell, why not have something different.

well i picked up the shell tonight! 280 mile round trip and drove the last 30 miles

with a blowout on the trailer arrived home at 1.15am

all i can say is damn it was worth it!!!

its an 1998 evo individual shell with loads of parts still fitted, hpi clear 2 owners with all docs, full bmw service history and in mint condition. no damage, rust or anything untoward. its only done 72000 miles!

he broke the car as it was worth more in parts.

the grey vader trim he was selling wasnt as healthy as i was expecting so im gonna fit a black vader trim ive seen for sale. i think thats a better option as it wont show the wear as bad.

man i cant sleep, i wanna start working on it RIGHT NOW!!!

IM AS HAPPY AS A DIRTBAG WITH A BAG OF BLACK DILDOS!!!!!
