Interior Door Handle broke + other door issues

The first problem was when my girlfriend couldn't open the door from the inside. I tried replacing all the interior snaps but the problem returned.

The second problem was that sometimes I couldn't even open the passenger door from the outside without "humping" the door (which for the second time has left a dent that I'll have to pay to remove).

The third problem was that, when I removed the inner liner, the interior door handle itself was broken (the plastic tab on the front-most part broke off so it's dangling).

The fourth problem is that even with the interior liner removed I still have to hump the door from the outside in order to open it.

Aside from replacing the interior door handle (which I assume is simple as there is one Philips screw and a hook), and replacing the broken door snaps, do I also need to adjust the door catch (two Torx bolts) so that I can easily open it from the outside? Or is there another issue? The exterior handle is new.

Also, is there a DIY for the interior door handle?

    Thanks in advance.

To answer my own question: changing the inner door handle is the easiest DIY ever. It didn't fix the problem though. Neither did adjusting the door catch. It was the part of the door that hooks the catch (if you have the door open and look at the "side" view it's the part that responds to pulling the inner or outer handle. That part had to be replaced.
