Fog lights

Anyone found a solution to the frequent breakage? Aftermarket lights? Guards?

I'm going to give lamin-x a try for my Bosch headlights--the set they have includes the fog overlays too.

Deletes, I rarely ever use mine. Will do that when I bring it in to a body shop to clean up some of the front bumper rash.

Meant totally get rid of it and replacing it with a blank plate.

I tried Lamin-x, but every time I had them on and a bug would splatter on them, it would leave a huge black spot in the plastic from the fogs getting so hot.

Yes there is an OE panel that clips in place. All the usual sites sell it. Need to have it paint matched. I have only broken one light though. I almost never turn them on, I don't drive the car is the weather is poor so no need really.

Lamin-x will help them last longer for sure. The front of the car looks much better with the fogs in place, but that is just my opinion. It is important to remember that these are FOGs and not driving lights, so unless you live is San Fran or some other place that gets fog often it is unlikely you would need these to be turned on much.



Obviously some folks like to have them on all the time. :-) :-)
