The best place to find the answer to your question is the section that talks about the 2008-2012 M3.

What kind of racing will you be doing? Some clutch surfaces do not like to be slipped much.

How much do you want to spend?

How "streetable" does the clutch have to be? Puck disk clutches are more racing oriented and tend to hold more power than full face disk clutches, but are less street friendly. I use a full face Southbend Stage 5 clutch on my 99M3 that will hold 700 lbs torque (I have only 600 lbs torque) at the flywheel.

Does the stock clutch still work? My stock 99M3 clutch held the power of my then-supercharged engine for 3 years.

I think some of the best bang for the buck clutches are the ebay Gripforce or F1 Racing clutches. You can get a lightweight flywheel and heavier duty clutch for a total of about $500. There are a number of satisified users here on the forums.
