On my 1999 S52 M3 Coupe, I am getting horrible misfires. The car runs great, until it reaches operating temperature. Once there, it misfires like crazy. I hooked it up to a scanner and got codes for cylinder 1-6 misfire, as well as bad o2 sensors. Is it possible I have them crossed? I had forgot which went where when putting them in.

Rear connector on manifold to 02 sensor on front header and vice versa. You may have to clear adaption also, but try just reconnecting them correctly. The symptoms you describe fit the problem well. 02 feedback won't occur during a cold start, which is why it runs OK then. -
