Ok, finally got a chance to clean the old girl up a bit after all the recent work on her and a short vacation drive over the holiday. Too bad it was a bit overcast today so the shots turned out kinda dark. Oh well.

She is 100% OE in all ways that count. The single mod, and not really a mod, are the SS brake lines I installed on the last brake job. That is it. Anyway, enjoy!

Hmmm, sorry about that. They are on my server, not sure why they would time out but I will check into it.

Here's Ingrid. Needs some cosmetic work that I am slowly getting to. Nearly every things works now, which was far from the case when I bought her. I will probably spring for a quality respray in Avus or Interlagos...

Good on ya bringing it back, looks good. A color change is a serious commitment, depending on how far you go with it. I've done it a couple times and probably won't repeat it. What did you have to fix to get it back on the road?

It was always road worthy, it just had a raft of electrical problems caused by a ham-handed PO. He put the wrong relays in the AC circuit so the fan wouldn't work. Then to cover it he manually wired the aux fan to a toggle switch in the cockpit. Splices were made using the orange contractor screw on fittings. The trunk harness shorted out and blew out the CCM. He ghettoed the tailights together to avoid the CCM altogether...

Of course that is not the order in which I discovered the problems. It was like a weekly electrical trouble shooting quiz.

                    It does run strong though.

I hear you about the color change. And when it comes right down to it I will probably just go with Cosmos...

                              I'll play...

This is some years ago, but at this point, it's 100% stock save the tint:

It was five years before I made a "non-OEM" mod that is visible to the observer-- the Stromung. Other than the exhaust, almost everything has been BMW parts that at some point were offered on the E36 M3, either in the US or Europe (CD43, OEM clears, programmable wiper delay module, door pocket coin tray, console tray, Euro side mirror, even a BMW roof rack :thumbsup2.
