Look at your shoe. Any fluid there?
When this happened to me, it was my master cylinder. I had a couple drops of fluid on the toe of my shoe and the carpet.
As much as this type of problem is usually the slave cylinder on most cars, ours have notorious clutch pedal bushings that fail prematurely and allow side slop that puts lateral strain on the master cylinder push rod leading to failure.
If you're doing either the slave or the master (and I can almost guarantee you will be doing one or the other), you might as well do both at the same time, as well as a new OEM pedal, delrin bushings and a stainless clutch line if you don't have those items already.

And it's entirely possible that the failure wasn't so bad that there was enough fluid getting past the boot to drip, but enough getting past the seals that it wouldn't operate properly.
If you're resigned to not driving it anyway, you might want to start the dis-assembly process for the MC. Removing the panel beneath the steering wheel will allow you to investigate (or remove, if you wish) the MC. It would also show if, for some unlikey reason, it's not a hydraulic failure at all, but rather a linkage failure or some such thing.
And realistically, you *could* do the job today if you can source the part(s) locally. Also realistically, if you can't source the parts locally today, you might not have them by Monday, either, unless you pay through the nose for expedited shipping. :-)
Either way, it's probably making a couple phone calls and doing some underdash recon in the meantime. :-)
