    dash illumination problem

When I use my turn signal, they are not illuminating on the dash, however they are working properly. Sometimes it will light up on the dash, however it will stay on for a couple of minutes. Also my seat belt, and door ajar light are staying on while I am driving. Does anyone have any idea whether this is a bad sensor, switch, or relay? This just started occurring today.

I own an e46 m3, I accidentally posted this under the wrong thread.

How old is your battery? Check the voltage while the car is off. Wait 20 minutes or so for the modules to shut down and measure across the battery terminals. It should be at least 12.4V, preferably 12.5V. Also measure with the engine on. It should be 14V or so.

E46s are very finicky when it comes to battery and charging system voltages and all sorts of weird things can happen when they see low voltages from a bad battery or bad voltage regulator. If you don't have a multimeter, you can use the test mode on the OBC. Hold down the left button on the cluster until it says test. Tap until you see 19. That will bring you to the submenu. I believe it's 19.2 for the voltage. Google it to double check. There are YouTube videos out there too.

Weird, after checking the fuses, all of the indicator lights are now working fine. I guess I am going to wait to troubleshoot this if it happens again. Thanks for the help, I will remember that if it starts happening again.
