Can you replace the front control arm bushings

    without removing the control arms?

I mean take the lollipop brackets off. Pressing old bushing out. Press the new bushings in and then back on the control arms and car?

I just want to replace the bushings.

Sure you can. Make sure you have the wheels off, and obviously have the front end off the ground and on jack stands, NOT ramps.

Thanks. I will use a lift. Gotta replace those rear control arms as well.

I'd do everything while you are in there...will save you time down the road. Only $400ish for bushings pre-pressed (OEM rubber) with control arms, sway bar end links, and tie rod ends...

already done most. I'm replacing the rear control arms because one seems to be bent and last time we did the bushings and ball joints on them and could not get the read camber set because one is probably bent.

I tried to get my shop to do this and they looked on real oem and found that u can't buy just the bushings any more? They said u have to buy the whole arm and they come pre loaded with the bushing in them. Didn't want to spend that much so...

I just bought the bushings only from pelican parts.

You're probably thinking of the two ball joints on the front LCA, not the FCABs themselves. The ball joints were never sold separately, and you had to buy the entire LCA to replace them until now when we've found an alternate solution. The FCAB has always been available separately, and can most definitely be replaced without removing the LCA's (just leave both ball joints connected).

ok thanks, youre right. if you do the FCAB, do you have to get an alignment after?

Nope, the FCAB doesn't change alignment settings like say, the tie rods or RTAB's would, so if the alignment has been done recently I wouldn't worry.
