TRM tune, Euro HFM, and pink tops. What's needed?

I talked to TRM last week. Great conversation, very helpful. I have a Euro 3.5" HFM and 21.5 lb injectors in hand. About to order a standard tune from TRM.



I'm a bit confused on what I need to install the HFM. Going from 3" to 3.5" back to 3". What's best? (Sticking with stock airbox.)



I'm also tempted to remove the intake manifold and replace the all the heater and vacuum hoses under the manifold, and remove the TB heater lines. Worth it?

That should do it, are you going to keep the stock elbow too? I ended up going with an AFE intake. I have a new euro M3 intake box and snorkel in my basement that I haven't gotten around to installing. I'll probably end up throwing it up for sale in the classified section.

1 or 2 of those? After talking to TRM, they said w/o other mods (cams or porting or such) there is no added HP in changing out the stock air box or elbow.

You'll need two if you want to keep the stock elbow too. Otherwise one plus a samco or bimmerworld elbow to minimize the number of couplers in the intake tract.
