When one door closes another seems to open.

So I just finished installing new tie rods, control arms, FCABs, and coolant overflow tank. Though as soon as I had that finished I found myself a few days later with a new coolant leak, which seems to be coming from the back of the engine bay on the passenger side. (I seem to be in a season of projects with this car right now.. :-)) Anyway there seems to be coolant dripping onto the exhaust manifold. Can anyone tell me what that might be, or what I should look into replacing? I can't really seem to see anything at the moment since the manifold is in the way. Insight and help is much appreciated!

My car has been in the garage since the fall, so it's been a while since i've been in the engine bay. But I don't recall any coolant lines on that side of the engine. Are you sure it's not leaking from the tank you just installed and blowing back towards the manifold?

Sounds like you have a leaking head-gasket....

That or the coolant drain plug could be leaking on to the manifold. Where is it leaking onto the manifold?

Could also be a leaky freeze plug, although I've never heard that problem on the S52's I've seen it on many other motors.

It seems to be kind of near the middle. It's dripping onto the front most manifold. So after looking up the placement of the drain plug that seems like a possible culprit!

I'm guessing it's dripping on the lower section of the manifold?
