034Motorsport Density Line engine mounts. Any info?

    https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...t-034-509-0064

    Anyone tried this yet?

Looks like another powertrain mount promising all the benefits with "no" or "minimal" NVH increase. Given the reviews I've read on other mounts in the same vein, I'm... skeptical. But might be persuaded if this one is likely to last a lot longer than the OE mount, just because I don't want to keep having to replace them (done it twice in 70k miles), especially as the M3 is no longer the road trip car.

Coincidentally this video showed up in my recommended earlier today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Veru6RKD63Y

They seem like a really good slight upgrade/OE alternative, although I have zero issues with my new OEM ones replaced about a year ago.

Yeah it's tempting. Especially on this car, which seems to need engine mounts every 4th or 5th oil change.

My one concern is that, IME, when people claim that a mod improves things without increasing NVH, the NVH part usually turns out to be false. Sometimes laughably false. Makes it hard to find feedback that seems trustworthy.

I also saw that video and it makes the product look great, at least for the S54. But again, seems weird to me. If it were possible to omit the stock engine mount's fluid chamber and valve, firming things up without a significant NVH penalty, why on earth wouldn't BMW have done it? Seems like a no-brainer. Less cost, better performance, better durability, longer life. Something's missing here.

With zero experience with this specific product...

... they're going to add NHV.
