Hi I have a car that was 335i that had m3 engine, dme, cas and many modules swapped over. For smog purposes the ecu vin is causing it to fail. Is it possible to change the vin from the dme with mss60 flasher? The CAS vin will still remain the donor cars vin, but that shouldn’t matter I believe because ISN still matches. And smog shops seem to only read dme vin with their systems.
