Update... I replaced fuse 11 again and reset codes using ISTA+ it is now fixed; no returning codes. I'm guessing this needed to be cleared by BMW dealer software đ¤ˇââī¸?
I'm getting an airbag light with codes that reference the drivers belt tensioner and belt contact and I've run out of ideas to resolve it. This originally started with something seemingly unrelated; while using the driver seat forward/backward switch it blew a fuse. I replaced the fuse and it did it again. So I took the seat out to make sure there wasn't a wire shorted somewhere and checked all the plugs. When I put the seat back in I started getting the airbag light and the following codes from Carly:
Fault code: 000002 Failure warning light / Ignition circuit ZK1 -> belt tensioner driver / Resistance ZK0 -> driver airbag / Ignition circuit CC1 / belt tightener driver / Error lamp
Fault code: 000050 Supply voltage
Fault code: 000060 Belt contact driver / Buckle driver
And from PASoft:
Fault code: 02 [002] Drivers belt tensioner, resistance too high
Fault code: 60 [096] Drivers belt buckle switch, resistance too low or short to ground
First thing I did was the obvious, I replaced the belt buckle (72119119551) and tensioner harness (52108255704). I also double checked fuses and they were fine. So everything from the yellow connector to the belt buckle/tensioner is now new. Unfortunately this made no difference and I still get the same codes.
Only other idea I have is that the seat forward/backward short that blew the fuse caused an issue in the wiring harness from the connector under the seat to air bag module? Or maybe something totally unrelated like a relay or something?? Any other ideas? I hate electrical issues âšī¸...
