I am in the middle of a PS res./hose refresh and noticed a small tear on the outer portion of the line that connects to the solenoid that hangs under the airbox. The tear exposes what appears to be a nylon-braided line and the inner "nylon" portion doesn't appear to be damaged.
I think I damaged it when trying to remove the solenoid from the mount on the underside of the airbox as I thought I might just remove the whole airbox to clean the ICV and install a new TPS as well.
Anyways here are some photos, I'd simply like to know what this line is and if it's a big deal if it is potentially damaged. Looks like it would be a pain in the ass to replace as it appears to run down the entire length of the vehicle more or less.
