Hey lets not ban folks who have clean cars and ban folks who support Megan Racing instead?

If you mean the later, how do you reckon? Genuinely curious how you think his car will be any different or better.
we can only go based on cleanliness, mods, sound, etc. I’m not sure what him driving his car has anything to do with us watching his build. It’s YouTube, not an enclosed driving course.

not sure why the hate for it.

No, not really. At least I don’t think so. In any case there’s very little on YouTube, which is what the OP is known for.

i think it's laughable you're talking about him like hes some shadetree mechanic that is scrounging together resources to finish a passion project that benefits the car community.
he's loaded, and is clearly doing this primarily to make money, why give a business your services for free?
most of the enthusiasts on this forum are largely net negative in their "investment" into this platform but largely positive in their contribution to the community (diys, reviews, honest opinions).
you're romanticizing the wrong guy imo

I see both sides. He can do as he pleases; good for him for having the $. But he adds nothing to the e46 m3 world other than having more videos of one on youtube you can watch.
TBF, it's hard to add to our knowledge base anyway as almost everything was discovered and doc'd on m3f, e46fans, here, cutters, et al. And if someone does improve things, it's a Hassan or a Karbonius or a Martyn.
If you think more exposure leading to rising prices on the cars and parts is a good thing, you've lost the plot, frankly. It just denies access to the many, leaving the privileged few, who seldom are true enthusiasts, as the new owners. Similar to real estate in popular areas. You want the E46 M3 to become New York or San Francisco?
My car/parts going up in value REDUCES my enjoyment of the car and ability to mod as I please, and raises the cost of insurance as well.

fair enough, i used to watch his videos regularly but eventually got fatigued by them and it took me a while to figure out why. i have no animosity towards the guy its too bad it comes off that way

I'd rather have guys like him make more content on our m3 rather than other cars.

We could, and probably should equally spend that time to reach out and help him on his E46 M3 build.
