Newbie Rotor Question

StopTech just bumped their prices up as of today, and the MAP on the rings are eye-watering.

Yeah just saw that...Almost $800 per ring. WTF. Guess i'll have to go slotted?.....But i really dont want to LOL

Actually I've tracked my car on ST drilled rotors at the Bahrain F1 track many times. No issues at all. We are not Le Mans racers here on the forums so we shouldn't think we brake like them either

Just heard back from girodisc, the don’t do drilled unfortunately.

I’ll check out the above links for stoptech filled rings.

Quick note on caliper rebuild kits (really only matters if the car is tracked). While Centric is the parent company and owns Stoptech, Stoptech sells unique higher temp pressure seal kits. Make sure the parts you get come in Stoptech rather than Centric packages. Another way to tell is the dust boots from Stoptech are gray in color and are made of high temp resistant silicone, vs Centric's black/rubber. Again, for street car Centric rubber kits are good enough.

Bumping this up instead of starting a new thread. I need to replace my 355 Dt40 kit rotors and pads as well because they are almost at minimum>

Any suggestions on nonstop tech replacement options and if No, best place to buy stoptech rotors and they should ship outside the states. Thanks.
