100% agree with this and as an ex-small biz owner, I don't like to talk bad about companies online.

FedEx is a nightmare to deal with where I live. I'm rural, and getting packages shipped by FedEx is constantly a pain in the ass. Our mailboxes aren't the easiest to get to and they cannot be inconvenienced. They are the only carrier like this - we are forever playing the sticky note tag game, even with their mobile app that allows for marginal tracking of packages.

Also, 95% of the their drivers driver like a bat out of hell around here. I'm not one to cast stones at above noraml speed limits, but there must be something within that company that results in that behavior. Too many packages, too few drivers? Could explain the bat shit crazy driving and the reason why if dropping off a package at my residence takes 30 extras seconds, they leave a sticky note tag and GTFO.

it's the difference in how FedEx drivers are comp'd vs UPS. FE drivers are basically on commission from what I remember.

FWIW, FedEx Ground and FedEx Express (international shipments) are two different animals. We switched over to UPS for all ground shipments at work because FedEx Ground got so bad, but Express for int'l stuff seems to be okay.

I know some folks have had to wait for a few months. Recently talked to HMS and they also told me that you might have to wait till Jan/Feb.

FedEx...what is there to be said. Even some of my FCP shipments take a few extra days and detours to get to me and estimated delivery dates keep getting pushed out.
