Hey all - New to the forum and also running into a bit of dilemma. I currently have a vert with the Eonon GA9450B (all touchscreen) and I don't really mind how the volume controls are also touch because I have steering wheel controls. That being said, I picked up a ZCP which obviously doesn't have steering wheel controls and I could just use the little touch buttons and get used to where they are, but I was wondering for anyone who does have an Eonon or other Android unit, if they've managed to install an external volume wheel or controls?
I know the Dynavin comes with the physical controls but I don't like how dim and unresponsive the unit is. Also don't really care that much about it having to look OEM. Plus the overscan when using carplay would drive me nuts. An interesting middle ground looks like the Xtrons (wide screen, minimal controls on the bottom) - has anyone had experience using this one / what's required to install it with the HK system? Appreciate any thoughts
