I have both, and replaced my Karb CSL with the new OEM style and I can tell you sound wise they are the same. CSL has higher volume, but the 10% or so difference is not worth the loss in smoothness when giving up the MAF sensor. No matter what anyone says. At least on the Z4M Alpha-N v MAF is no contest. MAF is just more consistent as it is a true close loop system with infinite adjustment, whereas Alpha N is limited to pre defined tables.

Which Alpha-N tune are you using on the Z4M?

Now that people have had their boxes for a longer time, how are your thoughts now? Worth it? Regrets?

I'm super happy with it! Though still curious how different it is from a full CSL intake IRL, since some CSL intake owners sound super adamant it's drastically different, while others say it's similar. No one I know around me (Madison WI) has one. If you do, I'd love to make a comparison video with some better audio equipment.

Meant to hear it in person. Videos are never the same as what you see in the flesh. I watched dozens of eventuri videos before i installed mine and still sounds nothing like it does in person

Has anyone done an in cabin comparison doing WOT pulls to redline? Just curious how they all compare

You'd have to hear all three setups in person to know for sure how different they sound. The instagram video sounds slightly muted compared to the youtube videos. Could be the placement/distance from the mic and revving between 3-5k is not the best test for sound when the engine revs to 8k. Ideally, all three could be safely tested and filmed on a dyno.
