    Voltage with Alternator Underdrive

Previous owner installed underdrive pulleys on our SMG track car. Looking at the data from the past weekend the voltage (measured at the logger which is tapped into OBD harness) is nominally at 13.8V while driving but saw dips down into 13.2V.

Curious if anyone else has experience with underdriving the alternator and what voltage levels should be expected under “race” conditions. We have antigravity atx-20 batt so the voltage required to charge it isn’t as high as lead acid.

But the voltage drop to 13.2 has me concerned as the SMG pump may not be getting the power it needs and may need either new alt or new batt.
