Hey all,
It says it’s not open to public bidding, I think you need a dealer license, dismantled, rebuilder, whatever. It’s listed on that page.
Just wanted to post this in case someone is interested. Semi t-boned by a *choice words removed* person.
History prior to 20k miles unknown, but PPI came out fine when I purchased.

NOTE0: ROD BEARINGS NOT DONE. I don’t have continuous Blackstone analysis because I figured at this mileage was ok. Was planning to start at inspection 2. Only got a couple analyses and they reported it was fine. Not a great dataset…
Note1: at 47k and 48k rotors replaced with OEM zimmerman
Note2: No signs of cracks on the VANOS hub tabs during inspection 1.
Note3: Has homelink
Note4: Seats in pretty good condition, especially the rears. Rears are very very good shape. Fronts are decently good shape but could use some TLC.
Note5: Drivers and passengers airbags both replaced under recall.
Note6: No floormats.
Note7: Engine runs fine (no CEL)
Note8: CPV o-ring replaced with mpower22 viton at some point, I think i forgot to document it.
Damage:
1) Front left wheel scraped and may have contacted the strut. Still holds air but it’s not in great shape visually.
2) Drivers door destroyed
3) Headliner and drivers door airbag deployed
4) Drivers side frame dented inwards exactly at the front jack pad, so PROBABLY frame is no good. Area that the door mounts too also mangled so there’s that…
5) Front bumper cover pitted, dont bother trying to rescue it
6) Hood was not damaged by the crash, but the tow truck dropped a bar or something onto it…
7) SMG light flashing. I think it is the hood sensor but cant be certain
8) Gas sensor reads empty but at time of accident, there was 1/3 of a tank so im not sure what happened there.
Everything else seems fine. No sagging on any pillars or headliner, although I don’t know if that is something that can be easily salvaged.
Also unrelated, if someone in the SoCal area happens to have an E9X that I could get a ride along in, could you let me know. Im trying to see if I wanted to get into that platform or hunt for another E46 and would like to pick your brain about it.
Anyways, maybe this will be useful to someone, maybe it won’t, but I figured I would give it a send-off here. Hopefully this S54 lives on in someone else’s M!
