Time for a cooling system refresh - OEM radiator still the way to go?

im coming due for a cooling system refresh. everything is still intact but its now 20 years old.

I cant find a list of hoses that need to be refreshed and I havent done the m3 before. Obviously the expansion tank, the hose to the expansion tank up top, maybe the bottom one and the two radiator hoses and the radiator. My waterpump and thermostat are fine.

What hoses should I make sure I get?

I have an NRF along with new Genuine everything else and my car gets hot on track. I'm probably going to try something else soon enough and move on from the NRF. Maybe a Koyo, maybe a do88.

I was going to order the Do88 yesterday but then i noticed its a triple pass like the CSF and i just dont want to face the headache of the bleeding procedure etc. At this time I would LOVE to buy the KOYO only if someone is willing to provide me dimensions and weight of the box and ship it to my forwarder.

The current OE rad is unbranded and the OEM Modine rad was replaced with NRF according to previous posts.

Yeah that's the one.

I'm a big OE purist, but I went with the do88 radiator for a little less money and honestly consider it an upgrade.

Yea, I come at least once a year for Summer of Esses. I try and do the September event as well. I have a close friend in Atlanta, and it's an amazing track so well worth the commute. My wife and I drove up in the M3. Hopefully we can connect next time at a Jzilla event or when I am in town.

Yes, Jzilla event at Road Atlanta. I am local, so after a tow home I put in a spare and made it back for Sunday.

koyorad is 2 pass just like OEM. I thought about trying it but was tired of dicking around with it so went to OEM. I like the two pass design for folks that still have AC. The condensor blocks too much airflow for triple pass to work IMO.

Koyorad Update:

No problems with cooling at Road Atlanta this past weekend. Alternator gave up the ghost, but no cooling problems.

Were you also at the Jzilla event? I had issues with my cooling system and a OE rad, finalizing my decision on getting a Koyo. I had a spare alternator with me at the track
