I mean it’s not Leightons full time job to organize and respond to emails consistently but he’s doing us a big favor for organizing these GB’s. But an update would be nice I’m not going to lie, but yes he could be busy with life as everyone knows. I had no problem dealing with him with the old GBs on M3f

Found out today BBS Motorsport In Germany was closed for 2/3 months at the beginning of the pandemic and also in Germany they close down every August for employee vacations. Must be nice to live in Germany. This is why we have been delayed.

Im sure Leightons aware that Seans been giving us updates....i just got an email from Sean at Turner with the latest. at the end of the day we just need to wait. Seans been doing his best to try to get updates and came back with this information. He may be joining the forum shortly...

"I don’t have any updates unfortunately. I can tell you hope to have some
info towards the end of the week or early next. I have a second vendor
inquiring with BMW, so I might be able to get a better update from them.

Once concerning thing I heard today though is most manufacturers in Germany
have not been able to open, supposedly BMW, VW and Audi are all closed
still. This could be a big reason we aren’t getting any sort of info. A
customer told me that that has "ties" to a few companies in Germany. I am
waiting to see how true that is as well.

I am working on it though, each day I try to find out what I can!"

I want to be charitable, but Covid-19 feels like an excuse. You’d think after all this time he’d have managed to get some communication out. I agree with the poster who said this is about accountability. I appreciate Sean from TMS being the liaison here, but Leighton’s behavior is inexcusable. The fact that Sean seems to have spoken to Leighton on a few occasions well into Leighton’s radio silence tells me something is up.

Someone mentioned that Sean from Turner spoke to him a few weeks ago. He's also recently posted a resume to LinkedIn mentioning his stellar sales performance related to BMW wholesale parts.

Even a small update to know he's working on options would be appreciated. The further this goes the more chance people refund and the whole deal is blown. If it's true the front 8.5s will no longer be available (from BMW) then I would be okay to substitute with standard 8s.

I'd prob just call PayPal, as Leighton didn't even reply to the initial case or the actual escalation in my case.

I do really hope the guy is ok... This sound strange. But someone said above sean at turner just talked to him.. so mabey he's just being really crappy at this ... I dunno

Sean told me he spoke to leighton the day before this is going back a few weeks now. I’m looking for a refund but I paid f&f so PayPal won’t do anything. I was asked by Sean to send an email asking for a refund and CC him and still no response. Now Sean is trying to get a hold of him trying to figure this all out. Feel for Sean.

im just super frustrated at this point and want to move on.

I plan on doing the same thing. Buying them once they actually get here.

I emailed with Sean at Turner before I put my Paypal claim through and he said hes gotten a lot of calls and emails about it. He also said there was no update on the order or communication from BMW about when they are going to be manufactured.

I hate having to do the claim through Paypal but with no communication from Leighton I didn't think I had any other choice.

Everyone should just submit PayPal claim refunds, or CC charge backs
When all of a sudden they start seeing refunds.. I promise you someone will all of a sudden do something. I already did my refund. Buy them when they come instock.

The communication is horrid for this GB.

I'd like the wheels more than a refund, but everyone should be provided with their options from Leighton.
