I don't know of anyone here specifically besides HTE, but on E46 Fanatics I believe user Bali can help.

In my experience the clutch switch is rarely the issue unless its just the wrong one installed.

Most of the time its wired incorrectly

Or not coded correctly to reflect being wired without the GPS.

Oops, I was responding to both you and Nolan, his reverse lights are inop, I should have specified more clearly.

Did you wire in the GPS with the clutch switch?

Reverse lights and PDC could be an issue with the swap, a wire needs to be added from the cluster to the reverse light junction block behind the glovebox.

I do have to say everything went quite well, within a little more than two weeks I had my modified bell housing back and in a second package all parts for the conversion. No complaints here. During my installation I had some questions and Derick from AMS did answer them in a timely manner. When it came to coding, I went with Derick's offer to do the coding remotely for $195. This also was done within a few days. All worked out fine, except the cruise control did not work. I texted Derick, and he asked me to scan the DME with a scan tool and send him the results. I did so, but he never responded. I text him a couple more times and asked him if he had some answers, but again he never responded. I cannot understand why he is jeopardizing an up to this point good relationship.
WuBai is mentioning in his thread Hassan to do his coding. How do I get a hold of Hassan? Maybe he can help me to get the cruise control working.
I think this is common when having AMS (Derrick) do the coding. I had my SMG converted by them fully and my cruise control plus reverse parking sensors no longer work on the car. Yes communication with AMS can be a task at times, and a breeze other times, but I'd just keep reaching out if you still want them to do the work.

Was the DME coded the first time (even if potentially incorrectly)?

Did you wire in the clutch switch to the DME?

There are likely plenty of people on the forum here who can help you get the cruise working with just a little more info.

Contact Robert and get in his production queue. He's currently on holiday break till January. After seeing videos of the AS AX SSK, I am super excited to get mine for my manual conversion.

I am planning to get the AMS detent kit and buy everything else separately.

Either stock with an OE shifter or get auto solutions. Anything else will be sub par. And after buying AS shifters I lean more and more towards OE.

Sounds like it will end up costing me more.
Do yourself a favor and purchase the components individually yourself. This is what I should have done. Also, I would HIGHLY recommend getting an Autosolutions shifter. Take your time and do it right, it will be worth it.
