Decent fitting CSL bumper (non kevlar bar)

Is the Kevlar bar a straight swap, or are other parts needed to install it? My car has the aluminum bar, and the bumper for aluminum bar is NLA apparently. Thinking about switching to Kevlar.

The early Euro bumper is available at Schmiedmann. You just have to wait about a month or two to get it.

I forget. I swapped out my Kevlar for the aluminum carrier years ago and am gong to be swapping back soon. It may be a straight swap if I remember correctly - I also need to figure this out. I may just reference REALOEM and order all new hardware just incase. Does anyone recall if we can use the euro washer bottle that is used with the CSL bumper for the euro m3 bumper? Or do I have to purchase another washer bottle for a non CSL bumper fitment such as those found on stock spec cars. It's been a while since I've messed with this bumper stuff. Thanks

I think I may go with an oem euro bumper and avoid all the fitment issues. My car is an 03.5 that came with the Kevlar bar. I swapped it out for the aluminum carriers when I installed my CSL bumper. Do I have to swap back the Kevlar bar to fit the euro bumper? I still have the Kevlar bar in my garage. Is there better fitment with either one? Thanks in advance.

Well, after all that I ended up ordering a Genuine BMW Euro bumper from ECS (kevlar support) - Will be delivered tomorrow. Now looking into some sort of fog light delete kit. Has anyone seen this? Seems a bit pricey to me. I still want to get a splitter too. Appreciate the help guys and apologize for the layout of text in this post. I’m on my phone and it has seen better days.

There are two different P/Ns for the aluminum and kevlar carriers. Sometimes one version is cheaper than the other.

I’m not holding my breath — he replied to someone in that thread and made it sound like it wouldn’t simply be a “re-release” of their old CSL style products…

I was kinda worried about that. I’m a pessimist by nature lol - What about MileEndComposites? Pretty much not in the game anymore right? Sent them several DM’s on insta but nothing. I could just go with an oem euro bumper, but love the CSL look. I know Alsatek is out there but I believe they are well over $2k. Looks like a quality piece. Anyone running any of their CSL bumpers?
