With the hindsight of time, most of my Vorsteiner parts are literally falling apart. I've definitely gotten higher quality CF parts from other vendors.

Posting a small link, and only after someone else had responded to me about the company is my circumventing you?

I sincerely hope you can move on with your life and stop making a fool of yourself with these links to old posts that are out of context and reality. Keep post stalking though, it's entertaining me on a slow day.

Thanks 0-60 for the V-CSL pm! Looking forward to having another 46 csl clone, again.

Thanks dude! It's San Marino Blue Metallic from the M4 CS.

I hesitated between Marina Bay Blue and it. Here's my entry on it.

This is a stupid conversation now, you're upset because you believed I tried to “undercut” you. For fucks sake.. enjoy your euro made sweatshop bumpers, again I'll be ordering from a tried and true American company with lots of history to back up their products and who don't chase my posts around the forums butthurt over an incident that didn't happen at all like they believe. As a matter of factual correctness, you were a link away from ordering the Alsatek.

6+ emails back and forth and still no link to purchase nor a solid/exact price quote on shipping to my location. I believe they just lost my business and respect.
You ended up not purchasing, and then called me overpriced. Interestingly enough, AlphaN sells that very same bumper for 3,000 EUROS today.

Just to sum things up here: you asked for the best CSL bumper, I showed you Alsatek, you were interested enough to try to undercut me, still asked me various questions after the fact, then complained about the guy, and called me an insufferable children and a conman in the process.

    🤷‍♂️

IamFODI am I doing alright here?

    There are plenty.

Here are a few showing the widened fender fitment as a bonus.

Alsatek has been manufacturing composite components for OEM GT3 and GT4 Motorsport teams in Germany since 1999. As an example, they have made the WTCC E90 wide body carbon kit.

In other news, the E46 products were inspiration to develop new kits for other M cars. Here's the latest widened front end kit we developed together for the M3 V8, along with a carbon trunk that will be the basis for the CSL E92 trunk. Both are on the way to me to document and fit.

His Guntherwerks cars are amazing having seen them first hand. The VSCL front bumper was woven fiberglass back then. He marketed it as DVWP. It's a little different to pre-preg carbon autoclave in regards to material quality.

One thing is certain: you won't find me dissing a company with a proven track record.

I will definitely discredit opinions on a product's quality from individual with lack of hands on experience - in this case, that's you.

Anyone with any sort of sense can see what you did in that thread I linked. As always, jet_dogg has a way with brutal honesty.

The fact you're inferring Alsatek doesn't fit as well after all this is by definition being butt hurt.

You can just own up to it or triple down. No harm done.

Anyways, back to chatting CSL bumpers. Here's a dual hole snorkel produced this month for a member of EuroConnex. It carries a little extra as the cut outs are done afterwards - and then blended in during paint.

LOL, I just read your thread where you're looking for a bumper.

Recently got the piece right behind the convertible top for my '04 Laguna Seca Blue repainted as it had spent a couple years outside in my driveway and the clear coat was bubbling and coming off in multiple locations.

Moved to a new house with a 2 car garage and figured it was time to get that fixed so i did. Unfortunately, a spot of the clear also bubbled on the front bumper. I asked the body shop if they could just do a localized repair and respray of the clear there, but they said no and it'd be around $1,400 to have to whole bumper repainted. Under prior ownership there was, apparently, a small frontal impact that left a small raised area and crack on the top of the bumper. Not noticeable unless you look closely, but I'm not going to pay that much to have an imperfect front bumper painted.
1,400$ to properly respray a front bumper is expensive, for a spot repair, it's robbery.

There is a proper fitting 1:1 CSL bumper replica in pre-preg & autoclave carbon, with 1x1 splitters. Dual snorkel is optional for track guys or whoever likes the look. It's made in Germany, from a company that also offers +10mm carbon widened fenders.

The bumper roughly 3,000 US. Link to spec one. Shipping is 300$ via DHL economy and I can get them duty free to Canada via CETA.

If you can wait, I will do a limited pre-order special this Fall on the fenders and bumper once my car is back together.

It has the integrated bumper carrier, you only need to bolt on the shock absorbers from the aluminum carrier - just like the original CSL. See below.

Chas3n tried ordering a bumper but failed. For him to infer Alsatek failed at making a quality fitting part is ironic in itself.

I have had both on my E46, and can actually attest to quality. Feel free to ask me anything.
