Funny. I've been considering reverting my E46 back to street-driven only as well (track it mostly). Mainly to preserve it and enjoy it for spirited drives and car trips. Have been eyeing GT4s as a potential next acquisition. Do you track your GT4 at all?Originally posted by T-Rex View Post
2016 GT4 - My canyon / weekend toy. Truth be told, the e46 is quite jealous as I barely drive it these days. Thinking about converting the 46 back to daily duties so I can enjoy it more

Pretty much exactly your use case, my around the town cruiser/classic that I can throw our Husky in the back of. In a similar vein I'd love a Range Rover Classic LWB, or even an XJ Cheerokee (my family had a bright red XJ Sport about 20 years ago that saved us in an accident and was totaled out). Something about these old boxy SUV's that weren't gargantuan makes me really nostalgicOriginally posted by Keith_MN View Post
They are definitely a dog but to me, that's part of the charm. It's not the vehicle I choose if I'm in a hurry. It's perfect for a scenic drive or running errands around town.
Like most enthusiast vehicles, pricing has come down the past 6 months. Good time to buy! What's your end goal with usage?

Thanks! I saw a set on eBay for $16k, but they were beat up. I'd be cool with giving you a discount, but I don't think I could price them in the teens---if interested, just shoot me a text and we'll figure it out. There's a guy on RL who lives in Europe and sells GT3 seats all the time, and I could send you his information as well.Originally posted by heinzboehmer View Post
The prices on these parts are nuts. Have been casually looking for 997 folding buckets, but the cheapest I've seen is ~$14k.
Congrats on the car man!
Thanks. I've briefly looked at them before, but they seem like low quality reps. I think I'd rather have the genuine Recaros.Originally posted by Lavatoad View Post
Corbeau is making new replicas. Apparently you can contact them directly for custom work.
